The Small Cell Forum today announced the short list for its annual awards, which will be presented at the Small Cells World Summit in London later this month. As in previous years, Ubiquisys, its customers and partners are well represented, with a total of six nominations:
- Ubiquisys and Intel were named in the non-residential design and technology innovation category for our Smart Cell Devices.
- Mobile operators Three and Network Norway were named in the two commercial deployment categories – both of which are using Ubiquisys small cells. Carrier Colt Telecoms and NEC were also named in the Judges Choice shortlist for their “Femto as a Service” offering.
- Finally, Ubiquisys small cell partners Nokia Siemens Networks and Texas Instruments both received nods for FlexiZone and Multi-Standard SoC for Ultra-High Capacity Small Cells respectively.
