Smart cell demonstration
Ubiquisys is demonstrating smart cells, a new type of small cell. These cells combine the latest 3G/LTE/WiFi small cell with a new Ubiquisys communications-tuned computing module based on Intel® architecture. Smart cells add massive processing power and storage at the edge of the network, and we’ll be demonstrating how third-party developers have already added dynamic content management and carrier WiFi optimisation to this exciting new platform.
Operator-deployed small cells on display A range of commercially launched small cells for residential, enterprise and public access, deployed today in Europe, Asia and the US – including the Homecell from Mosaic Telecom.
New small cell products
In addition to deployed small cells, we’ll be showcasing innovative new products from our hardware partners SerComm, Tecom and Gemtek. We will also preview our latest working prototypes, including the G3-micro, which sets a new benchmark for miniaturisation and energy efficiency in a commercial-grade residential small cell.
