The vendor matrix compares small cell access point vendors and ranks them based on a comprehensive range of criteria linked to Innovation and Implementation. It primarily covers vendor competitiveness in residential and enterprise environments, but also recognises capabilities in public access small cells.
For Ubiquisys, the results of this analysis are a welcome recognition of our progress since inventing, commercialising and deploying a comprehensive range of practical femtocell technology.
The report doesn’t reflect our long-standing development programme in open-access small cell hotspots, and the resulting strong commercial momentum. So far we have shared just one element of this work – the pioneering smart cell product, developed in a strategic collaboration with Intel Corporation. We’ll reveal more details of our small cell innovation portfolio as the year unfolds.
